There are many like it all over the Internet.
It is a beautiful video and there is no doubt that random acts of kindness like this make the world a better place. The reward is felt by both giver and receiver and I find it refreshing to know that people are doing these things for each other. I think that videos like these can serve to encourage others to make similar gestures.
I also have this other contrary belief that, by sharing, or broadcasting, ones good deeds, the focus is on the giver and his/her benevolence. Each video of this sort has many comments of praise for the kind deed doer and all that praise may serve to dampen the intimacy and meaningfulness of the gesture. If you've ever performed a kind deed and not told anyone that you did it, then you know what I mean.
I also have a nagging feeling that the benefactors of some of these kindness campaigns may not be complicit in having their photos taken and posted online. If it were me, I might not be so grateful for the publicity of the act.
So, I am often torn as to whether it is better to take away from the deed itself for the benefit of encouraging other acts of kindness or just to give quietly, spontaneously, and humbly.
